Description
The Holosun HS510C is a multifunctional open-type collimator, designed primarily for long-barreled weapons. Due to its robust construction, it is ideal for mounting on carbines, PCCs (small caliber carbines). The HS510C has an aluminum housing and a titanium top cover for additional protection against impacts.
The Calimator incorporates Holosun’s leading technologies, such as:
- Solar Failsafe: a backup solar power source
- Shake Awake: motion detection wake-up
- MRS (Multi-Reticle System)
- Red Super LED with up to 50,000 hours of battery life
- 10 brightness modes for daytime use, and 2 modes for combining with night vision devices
The HM3X is an aluminum-bodied 3X magnifier designed for use with a red dot sight. The HM3X is packed with features and includes a quick-release, ambidextrous, side-folding Picatinny rail mount.
Features
One of the main features of using the Holosun HS510C and HM3X (Combo Set) sighting system is the increased effectiveness of shooting at distances of 100 meters and more. In cases where aiming with a collimator may be difficult, the shooter can use the combined work of a magnifier and a sight. Seeing the target with triple magnification makes it much easier to accurately aim the weapon into the lethal zone.
Optical characteristics
The Holosun HM3X magnifier has a threefold magnification. Fully transparent optics allow you to use the device even in extremely low light conditions. With a front lens diameter of 28 mm, the exit pupil has a diameter of 7.6 mm, and its distance is 70 mm, which is convenient for working with large diameters. The gas-filled optical system will never fog up, even with sharp temperature fluctuations. There is a diopter adjustment mechanism on the eyepiece module.
MRS (Multi-Reticle System)
The Holosun HS510C collimator is equipped with a unique MRS (Multi-Reticle System™) variable reticle system. Users can choose one of the following configurations: a standard 2 MOA diameter dot, a 65 MOA ring, or a combined version with a ring and dot. To zero the reticle, it is necessary to use the adjustment mechanisms. The value of one click is ½ angular minute, and the adjustment range in the vertical and counterclockwise directions is 50 MOA.
Bright red lighting
The illumination of the target is provided by an ultra-bright Super LED, which operates in the 650 nm wavelength range of the visible spectrum. Users have access to a wide range of 12 levels of light intensity settings. The two dimmest modes allow the collimator to be used in conjunction with tactical night optics.
Shake Awake Technology™
This patented technology includes a motion sensor that turns on the reticle illumination as soon as the weapon is moved. If the weapon remains stationary for a long time, the collimator automatically turns off.
This feature significantly saves battery power.
Up to 50,000 hours of autonomous operation
The power supply system is based on a replaceable CR2032 battery, which provides up to 50,000 hours of autonomous operation. Battery replacement is possible without disassembling the calibrator from the weapon. The necessary tool is included in the kit.
Installation on weapon
The Holosun HM3X magnifier is equipped with a quick-detach mount designed for Weaver or Picatinny rail systems. The conveniently located locking mechanism allows you to quickly and conveniently change the position of the optical device between work and rest mode.
The kit also includes a special spacer designed to accommodate collimators with different optical axis heights:
